超高分子量聚乙烯工藝用到的冷卻與定型真空

超高分子量聚乙烯型材產品的冷卻定型采用的是干濕相結合的冷卻方式。使用濕式真空冷卻定型雖然可以加快擠出速度,但型材因冷水的沖擊會造成制品內應力,從而引起撓曲變形;使用干式真空冷卻定型,水沒有直接接觸型材表面,而熱量是通過定型冷卻套由水帶走的,冷卻效率較低,要想提高冷卻效率,就需要加長冷卻定型器的長度。因此,采用將干真空定型和濕真空定型串聯起來的冷卻方法,既保證了產品的精度,減少內應力,又大大提高了成型速度。超高分子量聚乙烯工藝用到的冷卻與定型真空,具體方式是以干真空定型緩冷后,再在濕真空水槽中使整個制品減壓冷卻,由此可以防止制品冷卻時產生變形,減少內應力,高速成型精度高的制品。

真空定型在型材的擠出過程中,被擠出口模的熔融物料直接進入真空定型模,借助真空負壓作用,物料被緊緊吸附在定型模的模壁上,經真空定型模內的冷卻水冷卻固化,真空度控制恰當與否將直接影響制品質量,若真空度太低,對型坯的吸附力不足,制品難以達到預定形狀,外觀質量和尺寸精度較差;真空度太高,阻力加大,會導致與真空定型模入口間積料,嚴重時甚至拉斷型材。超高分子量聚乙烯;型材擠出過程中要求冷卻水溫在18℃~22℃較為理想,有效水壓應大于0.2MPa。
